One man is behind bars after a high-speed chase spanning two states with speeds exceeding 100 miles an hour.

It started just before 5 this evening on I44.

Authorities on scene say a Burkburnett police officer tried to pull over a maroon Geo Metro but the driver took off.

He then led police, sheriff's deputies, and DPS troopers on a 30 minute chase into Oklahoma with speeds topping the triple digits.

That's where OHP troopers were waiting on that driver, but the driver turned around and started heading back to Texas.

Sheriff's deputies had set up spikes near the KOA Campground in Burk.

Those spikes flattened three of the vehicle's four tires, finally causing the driver to stop.

Authorities say that driver was Cody Linker and he had an outstanding warrant.

They say he's expected to be charged with evading arrest.
