Hundreds of Wichita Falls residents got the hankering for some chicken today as Chick-fil-A finally opened it's doors to the public.
If you were in the area, you probably noticed cars were double-wrapped around the building.
Employees had a system to combat the lines: in the drive-thru lanes, employees handed out menus and took customers' orders and payment, so all the customer had to do was pick up their food at the window.
All those chicken lovers tell us the drive-thru wait was only about 10 minutes long, but they'd be willing to wait a lot longer.
Randy Smith, who we found waiting in the drive-thru line, says, "Of course, whenever I go out of town and someone has a Chick-fil-A, I have to go there, but I'd wait in this line a good, long time."
And the line for inside ordering and seating was out the door most of the day, too.
