WFISD student athletes could soon have another option when filling out physical examination forms.
At tomorrow's school board meeting Board members are expected to vote on whether they will add chiropractic doctors to the list of other health care providers allowed to conduct student athletes' annual physical examinations.
"We want to make sure we have one universal standard physical form that allows all qualified health care providers to do those per-participation physicals,'" said Kenny Catney, the WFISD Athletic Director.
If the board votes in favor of allowing Chiropractors to provide physicals, the new policy will align with the UIL regulations which already allows students to get medical services from Chiropractic doctors.
