David Christner is sentenced to 12 years in prison for indecency with a child by contact and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
He was charged when the then 11-year-old girl told police she woke up to Christner assaulting her in 2011.
Officers say he denied the allegation and told them he was asleep when the alleged incident took place.
He and his wife, Virginia Christner, were charged with tampering with a witness after authorities say they made the child record a video changing her statements surrounding the accounts of the alleged sexual abuse.
Christner's tampering charge was dismissed.
