Local restaurants are all hands on deck so they can accommodate all the hungry cyclists and those who accompany them to cheer them on.
Lindsay Greer, director of the Wichita Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau, says, "In 2010, the visitor spending just for Hotter 'n Hell weekend was $8.3 million, so it's a huge impact for the community."
Hotter 'n Hell organizers say this year's registration numbers are on track to break records once again, and city officials say that could also mean a record amount of money will be pumped into the local economy this weekend.
