Some of you may not take down your Christmas tree until 2014, and when you do, the city of Wichita Falls Sanitation Department has set up four locations for easy disposal of the evergreen.

The city is collecting real trees completely stripped of all decorations and the tree stand. The trees will be ground up and used as mulch. Clearly, no artificial trees will be accepted.

You can take your tree to:

Lucy Park on Sunset Lane off Seymour Highway

At the entrance of Kiwanis Park next to the parks maintenance building

The city transfer station at 3200 Lawrence Road

The city landfill on Wiley Road.

You can drop them off until Wednesday, January 15th. For more information please call 761-7977.
