Clay Co. Constable Back at Work After Arrest

The Clay County constable is back on the job after he and his wife were booked into the Archer County Jail  after a Texas Ranger investigation led to his arrest earlier this week.
Forty-five year old Ronnie Pullin and his wife, 48 year old Rohna, were booked on two counts of credit card abuse, forgery and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person.
The indictments filed against the Pullins, four counts on Ronnie and six on Rohna, allege they used the victim's Visa Card without his permission, forged his signature on his checks and took funds from his account.
Our news crew found Pullin in his Clay County Courthouse office this morning where he said he had no comment on the charges.
Clay County Judge Kenneth Liggett says nothing prohibits the elected constable from continuing his duties while under indictment.
Last November, Pullin was elected to his first term as Clay County constable.
He has also worked at the Iowa Park Police Department, Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Wichita County Jail.
