Many in Wichita Falls are turning to a higher power, in hopes of receiving some rain.
The city of Wichita Falls is in Stage 3 Drought Restrictions, and with the summer heat on its way people are becoming more aware of the critical need for water.
It's the main reason Inheritance Adoptions is holding a "Community Wide Pray for Rain Assembly" at the Wichita Theater.
"Rain comes from the Lord and I think he may be wanting us all to come together and to recognize that he is the one the giver," said Lesie Howard from Inheritance Adoptions.
The prayer service will be held Wednesday at noon at the Wichita Theater, located at 925 Indiana Avenue.
All are welcomed to the assembly, and Inheritance Adoptions is asking that every business from the community sends at least one representative from their work.
