Concert Helps Crash Victims

Helping the families of the crash victims continued.

Community members hosted a concert to raise money for the many families affected by the recent car accidents.

Organizers say they hope to be able to help the families with their mounting medical costs through donations collected Sunday night.

They wanted to hold a concert so that kids of all ages could come because they say it's the youth that have been affected the most by these tragedies.

All the entertainers are playing for free something that does not surprise Wichita Falls resident Johhny Dukes.

“I've been in Wichita Falls about 10 years now and every time, I’ve noticed something has happened whether it's needling food donations or whatever, it away comes together with no problem, it's like this is a giving town, you know which is great,” says Dukes.

Dukes says he wants to remind everyone the importance of wearing seat belts as most of the crash victims were not.
