After a successful first year for an event that gets participants down and dirty, coordinators are now just one week away from hosting the race for a second time.
The first Texoma's Hellacious Obstacle Run was held last spring, and coordinators have found a way to make this race more THOR-ific than the previous years.
In this race, you'll be slipping and sliding in mud.
Not to mention jumping over and climbing under various obstacles throughout a 5K course.
Last year about 900 people took the challenge to run in the first ever THOR race, which was the product of the Leadership Wichita Falls class of 2011's legacy project.
And now with the first race under their belts, organizers say they're ready for round two.
"We are a little bit more confident this year, we know where are numbers are at this year already, so we know it's already going to be a success it's just building on last year," said Nicholas Schreiber, THOR Board's Vice President.
Saturday, organizers spent the morning preparing for next Saturday's race, cleaning up the Wichita River where folks will cross and building two new obstacles.
This mud pit might not look hellacious now but come Saturday it will be full of mud, and there is only one way you can cross it, with these telephone polls.
And though some of the obstacles may seem overwhelming, coordinators say the race isn't geared for just athletes and it can be completed at your own pace.
"You can walk it you can jog it, you can take your time, we have a bypass for every obstacle there is," said THOR Board Member, Joe Rock.
This year's course has also been adjusted.
Coordinators say the start and finish has moved to the MPEC and the race now features some stand out places in the city.
"We are using these bike trails, these Wee-Chi-Tah trails, out in Camp fillers where people can jog and use the bike trails, we are showing off the falls where people will be running," said Scheiber.
Through a race you're bound to get a little muddy in.

And all proceeds of the race this year will go straight street ministry.
