Dallas street workers have apparently removed the white "x's" that marked the spot where President John F. Kennedy was shot. On Friday, the city will mark the 50th anniversary with a ceremony in the plaza.
The city has never officially marked the "x." It's believed vendors around that area have been responsible for placing the "x" on the street and updating it through the years.
