One of Wichita Falls' busiest thoroughfares will be much busier and congested for the next two weeks.
Westbound traffic on Call Field Rd. between Kemp and Rhea Rd. will be down to just one lane.
It's all to make room so that construction crews can install water and sewer utilities for the new Chick-fil-A restaurant now being built in the Wichita Square shopping center.
The project is expected to take about two weeks depending on the weather.
The bus stop that is currently located in front of the Shoe Carnival will temporarily be moved to the area in front of Chili's, so you might want to add a couple extra minutes to your morning commute or your daily errands, or try alternate routes if possible.
