Crime Stoppers Releases the Latest Texoma's Most Wanted

A 25-year-old man, with previous convictions for theft and burglary of a building, is now on Texoma's Most Wanted list.

Nicholas Kyle Hobbs is accused of breaking into a shop in the 600 block of Burnett last January and taking a 2006 Dodge Charger. The owner said he went to the shop and found the lock and garage door were forced open.

He said he'd fired Hobbs at the end of last year and moved the car inside the shop out of concerns it would be stolen. Police found the car at Hobbs' father's shop on Jefferson with its hood open and say Hobbs told them he'd brought it there to continue working on it.

That's where police arrested him and he was charged with burglary of a building.

Also on the most wanted list 29-year-old Joshua Allen Brown for intoxication assault. Police say Brown was driving a car involved in a serious accident a couple of months ago.

At around 10:00 am on Saturday, June 3rd they say Brown lost control of the car traveling northbound US 287. It slamming into a light pole, spun backwards, and then slid down onto McKinney Road underneath the overpass there.

Two males and one female were transported to the hospital and at the time one was being treated for life-threatening injuries.
