Despite the clouds and a little bit of rain people across Texoma revved up their motorcycles to raise money for a woman who has helped so many people herself.
Christe Jenkins has worked at United Regional Hospital for nearly twenty years, and friends say she is always going above and beyond for patients, she even gave the shoes off her feet to one who didn't have any.
But Jenkins is now the one that needs help.
She is battling lung and liver cancer and needs help paying her medical expenses.
So Epic Riding Club stepped in to put on a motorcycle fun run and benefit Saturday.
After the motorcycles got back to Texas Nite Life a benefit filled with music, games and food started, with the proceeds going to Jenkins.
Organizers say they just wanted to find a way to help.
“I just felt like it was something that we needed to do to help this family and Heather's mom and it's just our way of paying back to the community,” says Organizer Heidi Allison.
If you couldn't make it to the benefit but would still like to help Jenkins You can call Rodney, Epic President, at 337-7000.
