Several visitors from the Metroplex are getting the spotlight at River Bend Nature Center.
Wednesday, kids got a close up encounter to some not so common animals at the nature center.
The last couple days the Dallas Zoo has brought a variety of their animals to the nature center in hopes of educating children.
“It's just a whole new experience you get to see these animals up close, learn what's so important about them, the reason why we need these animals here on our planet,” said Robin Ryan from the Dallas Zoo.
Folks still have one more chance to see the variety of mammals, birds and reptile from the Dallas Zoo at River Bend Nature Center.
Thursday, there will be three more shows, one at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Admission for adults and children is just $4.00, for those one and under it's free.
