It will be another month before an Archer County grand jury hears the case of homicide in Megargel.
The body of 54 year old Billy Jack Stevens, Sr., was found on April 23rd in the front yard of a Megargel home in the 600 block of 5th Street.
Archer County Sheriff's officials say his injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma.
Although no arrest has been made in this case officials say they do have a person of interest.
The case was suppose to go before an Archer County grand jury on August 5th to decide whether to make an indictment in the case but D.A. Paige Williams says that date has been moved to September 9th.
