DPS Arrests Two More Californians Transporting Marijuana

Another traffic stop on Highway 287 nets two more California residents allegedly transporting marijuana. A DPS trooper says he stopped  a Ford Fiesta with California plates yesterday for cutting in too soon after passing.

He said he asked the  driver,  31 year old Tony Wichaisck and passenger,  31 year old Somsy Mangsanghanh, both of Fresno, to exit the vehicle. He said he saw signs of criminal activity and after talking with  Wichaisck, he told the trooper there was marijuana in the car.

The trooper said a search turned up several vacuum sealed packages  containing marijuana  in the spare tire cavity. Both men had bonds set at $5,000.
