Brad Wiles took to the mound tonight to throw out the first pitch at the inaugural Alyssa Wiles Memorial Baseball Tournament.
Alyssa was killed last year by her ex-boyfriend Michael Ray.
Middle schools teams from Oklahoma turned out to compete and honor the memory of Alyssa.
The Duncan Middle School baseball team took to the field in Alyssa's favorite colors.
Each of their jerseys bore the name Wiles on the back.
Alyssa's father Brad Wiles said, "I can't describe...It's awesome to see everyone still continue 10 and a half months later. Hopefully year after year, they keep supporting her and keep her memory alive."
All funds raised from the tournament go to the Alyssa Wiles Dance Scholarship.
Three, $500 scholarships will be given out June 21st at Heartbeat Studio, where Alyssa took dance lessons.
