Lots of preparation comes the day before an election.
“It's been chaotic because of the late open we had [Monday]. Everybody came in at one time, so it's been crazy,” said Annette Stanley, the Wichita County Clerk's Chief Deputy.
Crazy or not the job still had to get done, and it did.
All the polling places are now set up, and ready for the voters.
'We need a lot more people to come in and vote,” said Stanley.
Out of the 70,000 registered voters in Wichita County about 4,500 republicans and about 850 democrats voted early in this election.
That compares to a total of about 4,000 early votes in the 2012 presidential primary.
And while weather might have delayed the work in this office's work today, they don't believe it will have any effect election day.
“I think it will be a good day [Tuesday] despite the weather because by now it's been cleared up so it will be good,” she said.
A couple tips for voting, making sure to bring an approved photo ID with you and know where to go.
