Families at SAFB Enjoy the Pool Thanks to Donation

- Two months after Wichita Falls businessman, Jodie Wade made a donation to keep the pool open at Sheppard Air Force Base, things are going just swimmingly.

With stage 5-water restrictions in effect, Wade contracted a local water hauler, who's approved by the city.

Airmen and their families say that has really boosted morale, and made them thankful for the Wichita Falls community.

"It's really indicative of the kind of community that we're a part of. It's so awesome to see that we're part of this community and we tell them what's going on over here and they reach out and they support us," 2 Lt. Ava Margerison with Sheppard public affairs.

Ava Margerison says the pool has been packed with families every day since the donation was made.
