As local growers started the extended selling season.
This is the longest the market has ever stayed open.
Tomatoes, okra and pumpkin bread are all fall features.
Charlie- Thornberry farmer Steve Young says although other farmers are, he will not be returning next weekend but will be back in a few weeks with pecans.
He says by extending the market hours, farmers are testing the waters, seeing how long their customers are willing to shop.
“I don't know if it's any better, we're just trying new things, we're trying to see what will happen if we extend the season on into October,” says Young.
