Felon found with AK-47 outside of bar

WICHITA FALLS - A Wichita Falls man is behind bars tonight after reportedly holding an AK-47 outside of a local bar.

Tehvin Luckey, 27, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm among other charges.

Luckey was taken into custody at Studio E on Sheppard access road Sunday night.

There, officers said Luckey was standing next to a car holding an AK-47 rifle.

Authorities said the rifle, which was reported stolen in July, was loaded with a bullet in the chamber.

Luckey was previously charged with a felon in possession of a firearm in connection with a 2014 shooting on Juarez Street.

During the investigation, police said Luckey admitted to tossing a .45 caliber handgun on the ground.
