An investigation by the Young County Sheriff's Office, and several out-of-county agencies, came to a head this week.

Bryan Walls, Young County sheriff, says, "Wednesday evening we had enough probable cause to issue a search warrant on a residence in Graham."

They raided a home in the 300-block of South St.

That's where Sheriff Walls says authorties found at least half-a-million dollars worth of stolen property.

"There are four wheelers, silver coins, sports memorabilia, lots of tools, welders," Sheriff Walls says.  "We had so much property that we actually rented a U-Haul truck to start transporting the stuff."

Authorities say they also seized about 30 guns and meth.

"With the amount of guns and the narcotics there, we went ahead and called in the DEA and ATF and they are seeking federal charges," Sheriff Walls says.

So far, four men and one woman are in custody and facing federal charges from the DEA and ATF, as well as burglary, theft, and drug possession charges from 15 different agencies.

The identities of those arrested are expected to be released next week after all formal charges are filed.

Sheriff Walls says he expects more arrests will soon be made in this case.
