Food Bank Theft Triggers Community Donations

Dozens of boxes of food stolen last week from the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank has caused the giving spirit of the holiday season to kick into high gear among some Texomans.
When food bank employees arrived to work Friday morning they found a trailer broken into and robbed of around $3,000 worth of food.
Wichita Falls police have made no arrests in the case but several Texomans have helped replace what was stolen.
Food bank officials say two boxes of food and two sizable checks have been dropped off at the food bank.
And this weekend a benefit is expected to raise even more.
A Musician's Reunion is set for Sunday at Texas Nite Life on Archer City Highway.
Five dollars will get you inside to enjoy the music but $10 will get you in and allow you to enjoy the food that will be served.
And coordinators say 100% of the proceeds will go to the food bank.
