A former Texoma high school coach and teacher is behind bars after reportedly turning himself in for having a sexual relationship with one of his students.
Thirty-one year-old Matthew Ryan Franklin is charged with improper relationship between educator and student.
He's a former head softball coach and history teacher at Henrietta High School.
According to an arrest affidavit, deputies went to Franklin's home yesterday to interview him about the allegations.
They say the alleged victim was there as well and she graduated last month.
They say both she and Franklin said nothing happened until after they graduated, but after further questioning, say Franklin admitted to engaging in a sexual relationship with the girl starting in December.
The affidavit states after Franklin and the student were seen at a local clinic together, Franklin was told he wouldn't be recommended to continue his position at the high school, so he resigned.
