General Manager and CEO Kendall Montgomery says someone's calling customers and threatening to almost immediately cut off electricity if not given a credit card number.
He says making a payment over the phone is a customer's option, but is not demanded during collection calls.
If you have any doubt about a call made to you, Montgomery says you should hang up and call Fort Belknap Electric's customer service line, 24 hours a day at 940-564-2343.
