Fort Sill soldier dies in car wreck

CADDO COUNTY - Oklahoma law enforcement officials said a Fort Sill soldier wasn't wearing a seatbelt when he died in a fiery collision over the weekend.

On Saturday, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were called to County Street 2592, one mile north of Apache in Caddo County. That's where authorities found a Ford Explorer engulfed. Inside, Jamal Bryant, 21, of Elgin, Oklahoma.

OHP investigators said Bryant was speeding on the gravel road and somehow lost control. Officials said his car left the road, struck a tree and then caught fire with Bryant trapped inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
