- Dozens of grams of methamphetamine are collected by the Wichita County Sheriff's Office during a search warrant Thursday morning.

Four suspects are arrested from the drug bust, 39 year-old Samuel Esquibel,19 year-old Fernando Rodriguez, 34 year-old Anastasio Sapata and 30 year-old Eric Ward are charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

It was just before noon when the Wichita County Sheriff's Office SWAT team searched a home in the 14 hundred block of North 8th Street.
Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says 38 grams of meth was found after they broke through a door.

“We had one individual that did try to run but he was captured in the carport area as we made the approach. So right now we have those guys taken to the county jail and we are finishing up with the drug investigators inside so we get all the contraband picked up for evidence,” he said.

Sheriff Duke says one of the suspects is a known gang affiliate and will be facing further charges, their bonds have not been set.
