A traffic stop yesterday morning leads to the arrest of four people allegedly involved in a burglary.
Just after nine, police pulled over a vehicle near Jacksboro Highway and Central Freeway matching the description of a car involved in a burglary of a vehicle.
They received information that stolen property from the burglary might be located at the Wayfarer Motel. Police searched the room and questioned several people.
Four people were arrested. All are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.
They are 42-year-old Chris Beamon, 30-year-old Melissa Burnett, 57-year-old Marcia Dunn of Arlington and 40-year-old Jimmie Jones. Their bonds have not yet been set.
