Funeral Services Set for Hit-and-Run Victim

Funeral arrangements are set for a young man killed in a hit and run accident last week. Police say 31-year-old Joseph Clark was in his wheelchair near the 3900 block of Old Iowa Park Road when he was hit.

Clark lived near the site of the accident at a residence identified as a group home for D and S Community Services which provides supervision and care for those with developmental disabilities.

Clark will be laid to rest at Holliday Cemetery at 1:00 pm Monday.

The person responsible drove away from the scene and has yet to come forward. Police have found the vehicle involved in the accident and it has been impounded but they are still looking for the driver.
