Funeral Services Set for Longtime Pharmacy Owner

Services are set for long time English Pharmacy owner and Army  veteran Ralph Gillespie. Family and friends can remember Gillespie, Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at a visitation at Lunn's Colonial Chapel.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday also at Lunn's. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn.

Gillespie was born in Jack County, enlisted in the Army in 1946 and was stationed in Korea. He began working for Ralph English at one of English Pharmacy locations in 1956, and in 1975 Gillespie and Bill Willis bought the two pharmacies.

He then  took over both stores in 1985 and built the new store on 10th street, then sold it in 2012. The family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
