Brick sales continue to build the Glen Eickman Memorial Pavilion at the Wichita County Cemetery.
The memorial is named after Wichita County Veteran Services officer Glen Eickman, who spearheaded the project before he died on November 26th, 2011.
According to Wichita County Judge Woody Gossom, about $23,000 have been raised from the sale of 115 memorial bricks.
But more sales are needed to fund the $35,000 pavilion.
You can purchase an engraved memorial brick for $50 and you can do that by contacting Dick Crislip at 940-761-4364.
Coordinators hope to have as many bricks sold as possible by next Monday, April 29th so the county can start taking bids to have the concrete pad poured by Memorial Day.
