Graham residents will have another chance at making the city "wet" after enough signatures are collected to put the issue back on the ballot in the upcoming election.
Young County Elections Administrator Lauren Sullivan says she has verified 1,175 signatures out of the 1,615 gathered by Graham Wet... It's Time, a committee made up of Graham residents in favor of going wet.
Sullivan says 35% of residents who voted in the last gubernatorial election or 1,112 signatures, were needed.
Sullivan will now go before Graham city commissioners on Aug. 11 where she will call for an election.
