Gruesome Testimony Given in Green Murder Trial

- A woman charged in relation to a 2007 fatal shooting in Petrolia testifies details on how the victim was killed.

Stephanie Heaston Corral is charged with fabricating or tampering with physical evidence in this case. She's granted immunity because of her testimony, meaning anything that's said in this hearing can't be used against her.

Corral told jurors she's friends with Green's family and said Green told her he shot and killed 28-year-old Jose Ramirez.

Corral says Green dug a hole in the backyard of his home in the 1700 block of FM 2332 and said he went inside to confront Ramirez.

She says Green said Ramirez also had a gun, and he shot Ramirez in the head.

Corral testifies as Ramirez was reaching for his gun, Green shot him again in the chest. Then she says Green tried to move Ramirez's body, but it was too slippery from all the blood. So he tied a rope around it, dragged it through the home, loaded it in a truck and buried it in the backyard.

Corral says Green told her that two weeks after he says he killed Ramirez. She says Green had joked to her about killing Ramirez for money several times but says he was drunk each time and she never thought he'd actually do it.

Corral says she knew Green was angry with Ramirez because he'd spoken badly about God in front of his kids. She says Green took Ramirez's money and debit card.

She says she used the debit card once to order pizza. A representative from Fort Sill National Bank then testified that in the couple months following Ramirez's death, his bank account was drained from more than $9,300 to a negative balance.

Testimony continues Friday morning.
