Hayride and haunted trails generate more than Halloween screams

Hayrides, hamburgers, and haunted trails all things you can enjoy while helping a great cause.

The Bowman Volunteer Fire Department is holding its first ever haunted hayride. The event is happening tonight through the 30th and will help raise funds for the 24 member department, As well as the Archer City and Holiday Marching Bands. 

"It could be something like upgrading a truck. It could be money we put away towards a grant towards new equipment. It just depends on what that need is but you have to that sort of money is able to move forward." John Strenski, Bowman VFD Chief

The Bowman Haunted Hayride starts at the department's headquarters.
The 10 dollar admission will get you a seat on the hayride and that delicious hamburger dinner. 
The event runs from 8 pm to midnight
