If you have ever thought about adoption, now may be a good time to explore your options.

This month the Heart Gallery of Northwest Texas is trying to help kids who are ready to be adopted find forever homes.

The Heart Gallery sets up at various locations across town to display pictures and tell the stories of kids looking to be adopted, from across Texas.

There are more than 7,000 kids in Texas who need to be adopted and volunteers say they are simply looking for the family that every kid deserves.

“Basically what it comes down to is they're looking to be loved, I know I had a young man tell me one day that all he wanted was his picture on a wall,” says Adoptive Father Pat Stacy.

The Heart Gallery will be hosting a panel discussion Monday night to share stories of local adoptive families and answer questions people may have about adopting.

It will be at the Wichita Theatre at 6 p.m.
