Taking care of all the athletes that ride and run during Hotter'N Hell weekend is a huge undertaking.

This year's medical volunteers had to deal with a variety of injuries.

The most common is road rash as many riders fall off their bikes and get scraped up.

This year doctors say they saw an average amount of medical issues.

At the finish line tent, they treated about one hundred 77 people.

They say 12 of those had to go to the hospital to get examined for dehydration and then some had broken bones.

The most common broken bone, they say, is the clavicle more commonly known and the collar bone.

Final medical numbers will be out later this week.
