High Speed Chase Ends in Front of Jacksboro HS

A woman is behind bars in Jack County Wednesday evening after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a high speed chase through parts of Texoma.

It started just before 9 when a DPS trooper tried to stop her on Central Freeway.

Wichita County Sheriff David Duke said during the chase she reached speeds up to 110.

She was finally stopped in a 4- door Lincoln in front of Jacksboro High School just before 10 Wednesday night.

Duke says she has a warrant out for her arrest out of Wise County for violation of probation for possession of marijuana.

He says the car had a strong scent of marijuana but a search of the car only found crystal meth. No word on how much.
