WICHITA FALLS - A home health center in Wichita Falls is closed after the landlord says the owner, a former NFL player, got into financial troubles.
New Life Home Health is located in the Travis Place Building at the corner of 12th Street and Travis Street.
The landlord for the property says the owner, Kris Briggs of BBWK Enterprises, didn't pay the employees their wages, didn't pay rent — which was three months behind and says Briggs also paid the landlord a bounced check.
A former employee tells us, patients, doctors and employees were notified of the closure on Friday and that patients have been transferred to several other home health companies.
KFDX tried to speak with Briggs but he has not returned our calls.
Additionally, the company's website has been taken off-line.
