Some families at Faith Refuge for Women continue sleeping in the shelter's dining hall thre weeks after bed bugs were found at the shelter.
Last month, Faith Refuge found bed bugs in one of its family wings.
Managers say they immediately moved out the residents, bagged up their property and started treatments to get rid of the insects.
The affected wing was suppose to receive three treatments but managers say on Monday pest control crews disassembled and treated the wing's wooden bunk beds to kill any bugs living in cracks.
Managers are currently waiting for health department officials to inspect the wing before families are allowed back in.
