KFDX is proud to be one of the sponsors of the annual "Women's Expo", which provides ladies with several different health screenings so they could make sure they're in tip-top shape.
United Regional Hospital representatives offered free blood pressure checks, and women could also undergo testing for a type of disease in their arteries, as well as testing their cholesterol.
Carolyn Allison, who's a United Regional volunteer, says, "This is something that might save a person's life. All these screenings are free, and it's just a wonderful thing the hospital does for the community."
Hospital representatives also taught about the importance of a yearly mammogram and how to safeguard themselves against breast cancer.
Of course no Women's Expo complete without plenty of pampering.
Those in attendance also experienced the all-important retail therapy.
