Running engines revved up funds for several non-profit organizations in Seymour this weekend during the 3rd annual busted in Baylor County event.

Organizers estimate nearly fifteen hundred people came out this weekend.

There was plenty of fun for the whole family, including a motorcycle rally, a cook-off and live music.

All of the proceeds from the ticket sales benefit the local cub, boy, and girl scouts, and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which is why organizers say there is such a heart behind this event.

"My father battled cancer for 15 years, so it's kind of you know in our hearts. So we just want to do something to try to help out. Seymour is not a very big town and we're trying to put it on the map, and I think that this is maybe one way that we can," Busted in Baylor County president Jon Hrncirik says.
