Nearly 500 Wichita Falls residents are without power this morning.

A lighting strike may be to blame for a possible transformer fire that caused the power outage.

ONCOR was first notified of the power outage at about 8:20am.

ONCOR is currently working near the 4700 block of Jacksboro Highway to restore power in the area.

According to ONCOR's website, 493 residents are currently without power.

ONCOR hopes to have power restored by 11:00am.
