Wichita Falls city leaders will be releasing the results of a study looking at ways to strengthen relations with Sheppard Air Force Base.

The city hosted several joint land use public forums. Joint land use studies are conducted at military installations across the US and are designed to improve the working relationship between communities and bases.

Karen Gagne of the city planning department said, "This is a critical time for the community. It's the last opportunity to come out and give any concerns you may have, whether it's minor or something positive so that can be further enhanced.

Your input is still needed. City leaders will release the preliminary results from that study on Friday, and for the next 30 days, you'll be able to give input on it.

Then, there's a public meeting where you can find out more information. That meeting is February 27th at the MPEC from 7 to 8:30pm.
