Investigation Continues Into Drowning of Child in Home Swimming Pool

10 days have passed since a young boy drowned in a home swimming pool on tinker trail in Wichita Falls but no additional information on the investigation has been released by police and there may not be any if no wrong doing is established.

We do know on March 6th at around 1:30 police were called to the 2500 block of Tinker Trail where Sergeant Harold McClure says a boy had fallen into a pool, and a woman at the home pulled him out and performed CPR.

The child was then rushed to United Regional were he was pronounced dead. Officers say detectives with the Wichita Falls Crimes Against Children Unit were assisting in the investigation.
