Jacksboro police say preliminary autopsy information indicates a man, whose body was found on a city road last week, died from stab wounds.

Jacksboro police say the body of 40 year old Broderick Dean was found around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of West Union.

Police Chief Terry McDaniel says he spoke with the Dallas County Medical Examiner, who says dean died from two stab wounds to the chest.

Last Thursday afternoon, Dallas police stopped a vehicle reported stolen in Jacksboro and arrested the driver, 47 year old Emory Alexander.

He was arrested on suspicion of Dean's murder, but an official with the Jack County Sheriff's office  told us they can not say if he has been returned to Jack County yet to faces charges.
