Jury selection continues tomorrow morning in 89th District Court in the trial of a Wichita Falls man charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill his wife's boyfriend.
David Everett Stevens is charged with criminal solicitation to commit capital murder.
He was originally indicted for solicitation to commit murder, but was re-indicted on the greater charge after allegedly tampering with a witness.
Stevens had been out on $2.5 million bond awaiting trial.
Then, Judge Mark Price increased his bond to $10 million after authorities say Stevens violated terms of his original bond by contacting a witness.
The alleged contact with the witness happened in August.
Stevens is the former owner of Metro Photo.
He was arrested in 2010 after police were tipped off by an informant and say they arranged to tape his offer at a truck stop to pay around $2,000 to the man to kill his wife's boyfriend.
