A Wichita County judge has disqualified the attorney of Justin Love.
Love is charged in the 2015 murder of Domanic Thrasher.
The decision to disqualify Mark Barber comes after Assistant District Attorney John Gillespie filed a motion to remove him for allegedly giving information to a potential witness in the case.
Last week during a hearing, Gillespie said Barber gave Love's wife a DVD with information pertaining to the trial.
Gillespie argued Barber couldn't defend Love because it is likely Barber will become a witness to his own misconduct, claiming Barber would have a dual role as a witness and attorney. The state also claimed that Tamilyn Love relayed the information about the state's evidence and witnesses to Justin Love in several calls and visits to the jail
Love's trial is set for June.
