A company representative says the Wichita Falls and Bowie locations will close early Friday and that will be the last day those doors will open.
Citibank is closing 29 of its branches in Texas including all those in Wichita County.
The branches in Nocona, Electra, Olney, and Graham are also shutting their doors.
Citibank spokesman Andrew Brent told us the closings are part of the financial institution's marketing strategy that focuses on larger cities.
He says rural branches do not fit that strategy.
Citibank operates around 100 branches in Texas.
It's not known if Citibank plans to sell those branches to another bank.
