Last of Three Suspects in Motel Shooting Now in Custody

- Bond is set at $1 million for the last of three men police say were involved in a July shooting at the Catalina Motel.

Twenty-one year-old Tyrone Davis is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

Officers say three men armed with semi-automatic handguns forced their way into a motel room on July 24.

The two alleged victims say the men threatened them and took all the money in the room before shooting the male victim once in the torso and then fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Police say they received Crime Stoppers tips that Davis, Carlos Byrd, and Tavares Byrd were responsible.

They say they interviewed Carlos and Tavares and both said Davis was their accomplice in the crime.

Tavares Byrd remains jailed on $2 million in bonds.

Carlos Byrd is jailed on $2,300,000 in bonds.
